PRA performed estimating and project value engineering services for a new 350,000 square foot office tower located in Midtown East. The scope of this project involved the demolition of an existing 24-story office structure and the subsequent construction of a new 40-story core and shell office tower. The project included terraces, amenity spaces, lobbies, and commercial office floors, as well as the establishment of a public entrance for the MTA’s East Side Access project.

PRA conducted an analysis of Union versus Open Shop labor considerations and executing a detailed value engineering exercise aimed at preserving function and design integrity while achieving a remarkable 20% reduction in overall project costs.
